Established in 2016, BITMAN is currently the largest blockchain community in Korea with more than 350,000 active users visiting the community and posting thousands of new contents every day. Now, BITMAN seeks to evolve into the country’s first Web 3.0-based blockchain community. To make sure this new, self-governing and member-oriented community fully enjoy the benefits of the advanced Web 3.0 platform, BITMAN plans to issue BITMAN Token (or BTMT). The current BITMAN community is built on Web 2.0 where mutual communications among members are available through bulletin boards, short messages, emails, etc. Though BITMAN fully utilized the functions of Web 2.0 and became the largest blockchain community in Korea, problems such as difficulty in filtering advertisements and inappropriate contents, lack of rewards for loyal members with many contributions, limitations on expanding the community’s sphere through partnerships etc still remain. BITMAN Web 3.0 will be the solution for such problems as the self-governing and autonomous properties of Web 3.0 allow all BITMAN members be a part of BITMAN governance. This means members will be able to filter out advertisements and inappropriate contents for themselves, reward each other for their active contributions, and even vote for the operational direction of BITMAN. In short, BITMAN community will grow on its own based on maximum loyalty of its members. However, to encourage BITMAN members to act for themselves and show great loyalty, there must be something to motivate them. This is where BITMAN Token (or BTMT) comes in.

BTMT stands for BITMAN Token, which will be issued and used in BITMAN Web 3.0 community. Developed as an ERC-20 token, BTMT will be utilized to reward BITMAN members who contribute to the growth of community by filtering out advertisements and inappropriate contents, posting quality information, etc. BTMT will also have properties of a governance token where BTMT holders can vote for the operational direction of BTMT (or BTMT governance). In short, BTMT will be the fuel that motivates the growth of BITMAN Web 3.0 community.

If you are a user of the BITMAN community, then please actively interact with other users in the community. You can write articles and share your opinion and insights with others. Your comment on other’s thoughts is valuable. The more you interact with others in the community, you will have more chances to get BTMT as an incentive. In short, you have to write, read, share your ideas in the community to get BTMT.

By “hodling (or staking)” BTMT, you can become a member of special channels (such as our DISCORD channel), BITMAN Guilds, or other differentiated communities where you can find high-quality information specified for your interest. You can also even become BITMAN Influencer who has authority to filter contents posted by other members, or BITMAN Guild Master who creates and manages BITMAN Guild, a sub-community of BITMAN focusing on specific topics. Don’t forget that BTMT Hodlers also have the right to vote for the operational direction of BITMAN governance. Bottom line: The more BTMT your hodl, the more influence you’ll have on BITMAN community.
